Update: Better Images Of Hit And Run Vehicle Involved In Saturday's Fatal Crash On Haywood Lane

Nashville crash Investigators have obtained better images of the suspect car involved in last Saturday's 5:40 a.m. collision.

Crash Investigators have obtained better images of the suspect car involved in last Saturday’s 5:40 a.m. hit and run fatal collision in the 300 block of Haywood Lane that claimed the life of pedestrian Ronald K. Lindsey, 55, of Nashville.

The car is a dark colored mid-2000s Hyundai Accent with several stickers on the rear bumper and trunk. The driver is described as a white man. He was traveling westbound on Haywood Lane when, for reasons unknown, he left the roadway and struck Lindsey. Lindsey, who had been on the side of the road, died at the scene. There was no evidence of impairment on the part of Lindsey.

The driver of the Hyundai also struck a large hole on the north side of Haywood Lane, likely causing front passenger side damage. Vehicle parts were located at the scene.
