Using Baby Monitors, Man Spied On Female Co-Workers: Police

A Nashville man put baby monitors under three female co-workers' beds and spied on them for months, police say.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A 35-year-old Nashville man used baby monitors to spy on three female co-workers for months, according to Metro Police.

Police arrested Christopher Neel Tuesday, charging him with wiretapping and aggravated burglary.

According to an affidavit, a woman found a monitor underneath her bed in February and had a suspicion Neel was responsible. Later, she learned two other co-workers also found baby monitors beneath their beds and the trio confronted Neel in March, recording the conversation.

Investigators say during that confrontation, Neel admitted to placing the monitor under one woman's bed in November. One victim said a few days after that confrontation, Neel sent her a letter in which he allegedly apologized and admitted what he'd done.

When the woman asked Neel how he managed to get inside her home to place the monitor, he said he saw someone type the door code while he was at her house for a party and he memorized it, according to the affidavit.
