Waffle House Shooting Suspect Travis Reinking Faces 5 New Charges
In addition to the four homicide charges, Travis Reinking now faces four counts of attempted murder and a gun charge.

NASHVILLE, TN — Travis Reinking, the accused Waffle House shooter, was charged with five more crimes Tuesday evening, in addition to the four counts of criminal homicide he already faces.
In addition to the murders of Taurean Sanderlin, 29, Joe Perez, 20, DeEbony Groves, and Akilah Dasilva, 23, the 29-year-old Reinking is now charged with four counts of attempted murder and illegal possession of a gun during the commission of a felony, Metro Police announced Tuesday.
Reinking is being held without bail. Originally his bail was set at $2 million; Judge Michael Mondelli revoked that bond Tuesday afternoon following a large public outcry.

Metro Police arrested Reinking shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, ending a frantic 34-hour manhunt involving more than 160 police and state and federal agents that began when Reinking allegedly shot an AR-15 inside a crowded Murfreesboro Pike Waffle House at 3:30 Sunday morning.
