Would-Be Evictee Burns Mattress, Slashes Tires: Police
Rather than being evicted, a man set fire to a mattress and slashed his neighbors' tires, Metro Police say.

NASHVILLE, TN -- A man set to be evicted burned a mattress and slashed his soon-to-be-former neighbors' tires early Tuesday morning, according to Metro Police.
Firefighters responded to a fire at a multiplex at Alameda Street and 33rd Avenue North near Hadley Park just after 3 a.m. Tuesday. The firefighters dragged the mattress outside and quickly extinguished the flames. Police said several cars in the parking lot had slashed tires, as well.
No one was hurt.
