“This is exciting news for us and for fans of Yazoo beer,” Linus Hall, Yazoo’s founder and brewmaster, said in a statement. “Yazoo is preparing for a long-term future with more room to brew, create, experiment and host our friends. The time is right to find a location for us that is a permanent fit for our operations and aspirations.”

Yazoo’s Gulch home is .86 acres at the corner of Division and Overton Streets between 8th and 12th Avenues South.
“The Gulch has evolved into Nashville’s premiere walkable, high density district,” said Chad Grout, principal broker at Urban Grout Commercial Real Estate, the company marketing and selling the property. “Of the few sites in the Gulch that can be acquired right now, Yazoo’s location makes it the next logical site for development. The property’s size and configuration make it ideal for most uses and we expect something special to fill this spot.”

Yazoo began brewing in Marathon Village in 2003 before moving to Division Street in 2010.
“We never expected we’d outgrow our first home in Marathon, and we did. And we never expected to outgrow this Gulch location, and we have. Now it is time for a location we can call home for good. It has been amazing to see this area blossom into a thriving neighborhood. While it is bittersweet to leave, we’re thrilled for what is next,” Hall said.
The company said it is closing in on plans for its next location to be announced later.
