Advocate Health Advisors Taps Mike Gwin as Regional Manager
Gwin will be responsible for recruiting, developing and supporting insurance agents throughout the West Texas region.
Advocate Health Advisors has named Mike Gwin as regional manager for West Texas. In this role, Gwin will be responsible for recruiting, developing and supporting insurance agents throughout the West Texas region.
Gwin, who is based in Abilene, will work with established West Texas agents and national insurance carriers that offer Medicare Advantage plans.
Advocate Health Advisors agents are Medicare experts who serve as trusted advisors for those who are Medicare eligible and specialize in helping those turning 65. The company has agents in all 50 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

“I am excited to welcome Mike on board with Advocate Health Advisors. I look forward to him helping us grow our team of agents in West Texas communities,” Advocate Health Advisors National Business Director Jeff Crumbaugh said.
Gwin has worked in the insurance industry for 22 years. Prior to joining Advocate Health Advisors, Gwin was an account executive for United Healthcare.

“As the new regional manager for West Texas, I am committed to helping our agents provide the best service and resources to their clients to make the best decisions about their healthcare options,” Gwin said.
Gwin holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Lubbock Christian University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. He has been an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Texas Association of Health Underwriters, having served on the board at the state and local level.
