Applebee's Bringing Back $1 Margaritas To San Antonio, Elsewhere

Please drink responsibly, but note the chain has launched trademarked Dollarita to usher in spring (in Del Rio, Kyle, New Braunfels too).

SAN ANTONIO, TX — First: Drink responsibly. Now that that's out of the way, you might be interested in knowing that area Applebee's restaurants are launching the long-awaited return of their $1 margarita through the month of April — their trademarked DOLLARITA™, that is.

Budget-friendly and consistently refreshing, the cocktail is served on the rocks and prepared with tequila and margarita mix, officials said in a news release. "The Neighborhood Drink that began the dollar drink sensation, is available all day, every day while dining in at participating Applebee’s locations for the entire month of April," officials said in the aforementioned advisory.

All participating locations owned and operated by Neighborhood Restaurant Partners will participate in the offer, according to the chain's public relations department.

“Margaritas are extremely popular with our guests, and our DOLLARITA is the most refreshing drink money can buy,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Atlanta-based Applebee’s, said in a prepared statement. “We first introduced the DOLLARITA to America last October, and we’re excited to bring it back in April as a reason to celebrate the return of spring.”

It goes without saying that you must be at least 21 years of age to partake. For more information on the DOLLARITA and other limited time offers from Applebee’s, view the online menu and stop by your neighborhood Applebee's restaurant.
