Getting Hitched? Texas Is A Top Wedding Destination

HOUSTON — If you're looking to tie the knot this spring, and you're looking for venues anywhere in Texas, you're not alone. According to a recent survey, several cities in the Lone Star State are prime spots to get hitched and ride off into the sunset.

The survey, conducted WalletHub.com, had Austin rated as the top spot in Texas and the 10th best in the U.S. for nuptials, followed by Houston at No. 13. The Big D came in at solid No. 20, followed by the San Antonio at 22, and El Paso at 23.

Other Texas cities in the survey included Fort Worth at No. 56, Corpus Christi at No. 83, and Grand Prairie, which was listed at 158 out of a possible 182 cities surveyed.

So which city is in the tope spot?

None other than Orlando, Florida, home to Disney World, Epcot Center and Universal Studios was listed as the top spot nationwide. Other top destinations rounding out the top 5included: Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Miami.
