Halloween 2017: The Most Popular Halloween Candy In Texas Is...

If you’ve ever been trick or treating or spent a childhood Halloween at a fall festival, then there’s a chance you had a favorite candy, and you had those you would just as well toss in the garbage.

Kids are likely just as picky about their sweet tooth choices in 2017, as we all were when we were traipsing from one door to the next, so your best bet is handing out something the little ghouls and goblins won’t find unworthy of their tastebuds.

While it's no surprise that classics like M&Ms, Snickers and Hershey's Kisses made the list, wildcards like saltwater taffy and Swedish fish were a bit of a surprise.

In Texas, the top Halloween treat was Starburst, followed by Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Almond Joy (my personal favorite).
