Law enforcement officials have arrested Billy Don Urango, 27, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, Feb. 26 in Wichita, Kansas. Urango was wanted for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender, Texas' Department of Public Safety (DPS) said in a news release. The arrest was a result of a Crime Stoppers tip that will provide a $5,000 reward.

Urango had been wanted since June 2017 after he absconded from Dallas, DPS said.

"His criminal history includes a 2010 conviction of aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child-sexual contact after an incident in Grayson County involving an 11-year-old boy," DPS said.
