Arlington Animal Services To Hold Community Garage Sale
Shop for holiday gifts and bargains while helping support pets in need during Arlington Animal Services' upcoming community garage sale.

Arlington Animal Services is currently collecting donations from the community to stock the garage sale, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21. The garage sale will be held rain or shine in the community room at the Arlington Animal Services Center, 1000 S.E. Green Oaks Blvd. Donated items do not have to be pet related, but they should be in good condition. Donations can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 20 at the shelter.

All proceeds from the garage sale will be used to support the Animal Service Center’s educational program and animal cruelty investigations.
“The Arlington Animal Services Center is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Opportunities such as the annual garage sale allow the community to show support for the shelter, whether by donating items, time or other volunteer services,” Animal Services Manager Chris Huff said.

Unsold items will be donated to Mission Arlington.
