Bus Driver Accused Of Sexual Incident With Student
Bus driver Chima Lemael Kalu Nsi was hired in August by Arlington ISD.

ARLINGTON, TX -- A 21-year-old bus driver has been charged with having an improper relationship between an educator and a student Sept. 27. Chima Lemael Kalu Nsi was hired in August by Arlington ISD and did not have a criminal background. Nsi was laid off Oct. 1 after it received an incident report from a student, the Star-Telegram reported. The alleged incident between Nsi and a student occurred when they were the only two on a bus. It was captured on surveillance video, the Star-Telegram added, citing police.
Nsi allegedly discussed homosexuality with the victim and asked if he should pull the bus over, NBC DFW reported, citing the arrest warrant.
"Based on the evidence we did get an arrest warrant,” Lt. Chris Cook with the Arlington Police Departmentsaid, according to NBC DFW. “I hope this sends a strong message that we don’t tolerate this type of behavior involving adolescents. Our kids should be free to be able to go and learn and get a quality education without the threat of a predator."
