Fellowship Academy Golf Team Plays in Turtle Creek Tournament
With grueling wind conditions, the Fellowship Academy High School Golf Team has a strong showing

Hit ‘em long and hit ‘em straight is the hope of every golfer who picks up a set of golf clubs. The Fellowship Academy Golf team did just that as they competed in the Turtle Creek Golf Tournament this past Wednesday, March 10th.
The Fellowship boys team consists of Ethan Bourcier and Jayden Chandler, who were both competing in their first golf tournament, and returning veteran Baylor Pike. All three had a strong showing at their first tournament of the year with Baylor narrowly missing out on being a medalist as having one of the top ten scores amongst the 41 golfers in the boy’s division.
In the girl’s division, Lilly Elam finished 6th out of 24 girls to win a medal at the same tournament. Lilly’s score was impressive in leading Fellowship to it’s first medal of the season.

The conditions were not golf ideal with winds gusting consistently at 26-30 mph and a course that was very long and grueling. Congratulations to all golfers who competed and we wish you continued success on your way to the TAPPS district golf tournament in April. For more information on Fellowship Academy, call 817-483-2400.
