Guy Fieri To Bring Taco Joint To Texas Live! In Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – Celebrity chef Guy Fieri, an Emmy winner best known for his reality show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," announced Monday that he is opening a new concept shop called "Guy Fieri's Taco Join" in Arlington's Texas Live! entertainment district.

Situated with views into the Texas Live! arena, the taco joint will feature a variety of scratch-made tacos, house-made salsas and guacamole. Menu items will include the ‘Al Pastor’ – Shiner Ruby Red glazed pork shoulder tacos with chipotle and sweet onions, grilled pineapple-serrano salsa, cilantro, cotija and avocado-tomatillo salsa, and the ‘Achiote Chicken’ – shredded slow-braised achiote marinated chicken tacos with borracho sauce, pico de gallo, cabbage, cotija and salsa rojo. In addition, the venue will feature a full bar and will serve up scratch made margaritas, a selection of Mexican beer and some classic Guy concoctions.

“I’m stoked to bring my Taco Joint to Texas Live!,” Fieri said in a Monday press release.. “Nothing starts a good party like some killer tacos and a few margaritas and we’re doin’ it all in Arlington. Love, Peace and Taco Grease!”

The Grand Opening celebration for Texas Live! will take place August 9 – 12 in the Arlington Entertainment District. Grand Opening festivities for Texas Live! will kick off Thursday, August 9 with national recording artist and Dallas-Fort Worth native, Toadies, performing on the Arlington Backyard stage. The celebration will continue throughout the weekend with a packed line up of live music and entertainment, events and activities for the entire community.
