Bellaire Debris Pickup Doesn't Just Mean All Debris On The Street
Contractors for the city only obligated to pick up debris from Harvey, not from rebuilding and restoration projects.

BELLAIRE, TX — The City of Bellaire reiterated this week that the City is unable to haul off construction debris generated by restoration or remodeling contractors, even though it could be for projects related to damage from Hurricane Harvey last August. The City said it's the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure that the renovation or remodeling debris is hauled off by their contractor.
The City stated it will continue to provide storm debris hauling services for those residents who have not yet completed remediating their home since Harvey. To schedule a pickup of storm debris, residents can email or call the Public Works Department at pw@bellairetx.gov or (713) 662 - 8150.
Additionally, the City’s debris hauling contractor will be completing operations in the Houston area within the next few weeks. If your property sustained damage caused by the storm debris removal operation, then you must alert them.

The damage in question must be related to the removal operation and not simply a result of the presence of a debris pile. For further instruction, email or call the Public Works Department at pw@bellairetx.gov or (713) 662 - 8150 with this information.
