Bellaire-Westbury To Clash Friday Night

BELLAIRE, TX — The Bellaire Cardinals look to keep momentum going in Week 9 of the football season with a District 18-6A against rival Westbury. Bellaire enters the game with an overall 3-2 record, with two wins and a loss in district. Westbury is 3-3 on the season and 2-2 in district. Both teams need a win to keep playoff hopes alive. The game is at 7 p.m. Friday at Butler Stadium.

Lamar leads the district at 3-0, followed by Heights (3-1), Westside (2-1), Bellaire (2-1), Westbury (2-2), Chavez (0-4) and Sam Houston (0-3).

Some of you might go to the game and will certainly know the outcome. But for those of you who have tunnel vision and will concentrate on the Astros in Game 3 of the World Series, below is an up-to-date scoreboard to show all the district games and results.
