Houston's Top Caregivers Earn Recognition at Conference

During the 21st annual Direct Care Workers Conference held April 17, 2018, at United Way Community Resource Center, caregivers who'd been nominated by families of their clients were recognized for exceptional service. Griswold Home Care Houston had two caregivers earn special recognition: Magdalena Cano (left) as Caregiver of the Year, and Taiye Adedapo (right) as First Runner Up. Both Houston residents, they are pictured with Griswold Home Care Houston's director Jim Vonderhaar, who also gave a presentation during the conference titled "What About Me? Sharing Concerns with Management." The conference is presented each year by Care for Elders, Houston's largest, most diverse and most experienced partnership focused solely on elder care issues.
