Zero Degrees To Open Texas Location In West Houston

California-based hand-crafted drink company brings authentic brand to Bellaire Blvd

HOUSTON, TX — A new ice cream and bubble tea shop will make its way to Houston probably by next month when California-based Zero Degrees opens shop in West Houston. Zero Degrees specializes in hand-made premium frozen desserts and high-quality handcrafted drinks, all with 100 percent fruit juice.

The company made the announcement on its Facebook page this week and said it will open its newest location at 10603 Bellaire Blvd, Unit 101 in Houston. The post said "Open early August."

Zero Degrees, established in 2013, tabs itself as "Home of the Mangonados," which is an old Mexican treat that contains mixed mango chunks, sugar and, um, chili powder. In other words, a mix of sweet and heat for this new Texas treat.

The chain store has souvenir glasses and travel-size glasses that are elaborately covered in art. The drinks often are topped with fresh fruit chunks and, when desired, more spices. Zero Degrees also has photos of food on its social media outlet, most appetizers like chicken wings.
