8-Year-Old Boy Spots Man In Truck Staring: Cedar Park Police
Cedar Park police are investigating after an 8-year-old boy reported that a man in a pickup truck stopped and stared at him Saturday.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park police are investigating after an eight-year-old boy reported that a man in a pickup truck stopped in front of his house and stared at him on March 6.
Authorities said the boy was walking home from a friend's house around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in an area near Lakeline and Elkins Lane.
The boy said he noticed a dark grey or black truck stop in front of his house. The driver stared at the child for a few minutes and then quickly drove away, officials said.

Police said the driver is described as a man in his 30's wearing all black clothing with a black beanie. His vehicle is identified as a black 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck. '
"We are continuing to investigate this as a suspicious incident," authorities said. "It is possible this driver/vehicle may have been spotted doing this similar incident in other neighborhoods, including some in Travis County."
