Cedar Park Is Austin Area's 5th Most Expensive For Renters
In its latest report, Zumper examined 13 cities in the metro area to assess the most/least affordable and where rents are growing fastest.

CEDAR PARK, TX — In a new report by Zumper, Cedar Park has emerged as the fifth most-expensive city to rent in the metro Austin area.
The report covers 13 cities in the Austin metro area to highlight the most and least expensive cities along with those with the fastest-growing rents. The price of bedroom units in Cedar Park remained flat at a median of $1,080, while two bedroom units fell 0.7 percent to $1,400, according to the findings.

The Most Expensive
–Austin, TX rent rose $10 to $1,190 but remained the most expensive in the metro.
–Leander, TX was second with rent at $1,140.
–Brushy Creek & Georgetown, TX tied for third with one bedrooms priced at $1,100.
The Least Expensive
–San Marcos, TX saw rent drop $30, settling at $890, and down one spot to become the most affordable.
–Wells Branch, TX moved up one spot to rank as the second least expensive city with rent at $960.
–Kyle & Buda, TX tied for third with prices both at $980.
