Cedar Park Gears Up For Inaugural Halloween-Themed Race
The first annual Spooky Sprint will be held in October and features 5K & 10K races, along with plenty of activities for kids.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Get ready to celebrate Halloween and what promises to become one of Cedar Park's favorite fall traditions with the first annual Spooky Sprint scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 a.m. The Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-themed run designed for the entire family.
The event will feature a 5K & 10K, Spooky Sprint 1 Mile, or a (free) Kids Dash, as well as great swag (designer shirt, custom medal), chip-timing, live results and awards, free photos, costumes, great post-race food, and plenty of fun activities for all ages.
Runners will meet at Brushy Creek Lake Park (map) located at 3300 Brushy Creek Rd., Cedar Park, TX 78613 and will be able to receive their Packet Pick Up on Friday, Oct. 18 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Academy Sports and Outdoors (map) located at 1104 C-Bar Ranch Trail, Cedar Park, Texas 78613. Packet Pickup is also available on race day at the race location between 6:45- 7:30 AM
