Cedar Park Golfers Advance To PGA Junior League Golf Championship [UPDATED]
Young golfers took first place in New Mexico regional meet, advancing to PGA Junior League Golf Championship next month in Scotsdale, Ariz.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- Members of Team Texas-Twin Creeks All-Stars -- the team comprising young golfers from Cedar Park -- finished first in the recent PGA Junior League Southwest Regional competition in New Mexico, are will now advance to the championship meet.
The junior golfers from Twin Creeks Country Club in Cedar Park took first place in the New Mexico State University-staged competition in Las Cruces, N.M. last weekend to advance to the 2016 PGA Junior League Golf Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., scheduled Nov. 19-21.

- First Place – Team Texas – Twin Creeks All-Stars (3-0 record, 30 total points)
- Second Place – Albuquerque 2 All-Stars (1-2 record, 16 total points)
- Third Place – Denver South All-Stars (1-2 record, 13 total points)
- Fourth Place – Amarillo 1 All-Stars (1-2 record, 13 total points)
The PGA Junior League Golf Championship in Arizona will feature teams competing in East vs. West matches. Utilized at the championship is the so-called two-person-scramble format, where coaches are allowed to substitute players every three holes, allowing all team members to participate.

CEDAR PARK, TX -- A team of junior golfers from Twin Creeks Country Club in Cedar Park will be competing in the PGA Junior League Golf Southwest Regional this coming weekend in New Mexico.
The young golfers will be competing against three other all-star teams from Amarillo, Texas; Albuquerque, N.M. and Denver for a chance to advance to the 2016 PGA Junior League Golf Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., Nov. 19-21, local officials said.
The team captain is Jeff Ronquillo. All participants played with Twin Creeks Country Club during the regular session. The players, with their ages and hometown notated, are:
