January 30, 2021 (Williamson County, TX) – Williamson County, which falls under Trauma Service Area (TSA) Region O, received notification today from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) that it no longer meets the definition of a high hospitalization area. This allows certain businesses to operate at the higher capacity levels allowable under Governor Abbott’s Executive Order GA-32 effective immediately.
Per Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order GA-32, once the TSA has reported a hospitalization rate under 15 percent for seven consecutive days, the TSA may increase its capacity at specified businesses from 50 percent to 75 percent.
