Cedar Park Volleyball Player Earns Angelo State Honors

Lindsey Ledyard, a junior setter from Cedar Park, posted 81 assists, 25 digs and four service aces in recent tournament.

CEDAR PARK, TX — An Angelo State University Belles volleyball player from Cedar Park was named to the recent All-Tournament Team for the Mountain Lion Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Lindsey Ledyard, a junior setter from Cedar Park, posted 81 assists, 25 digs and four service aces to help lead the Belles to a 3-1 record at the tournament staged Sept. 12-14. The Belles swept matches against University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and Minot State University, and also beat Emporia State, 3-2, according to a press advisory. The team lost is final match of the tournament, 3-0, to Colorado School of Mines.

The Belles will take their 8-1 overall record on the road to start their Lone Star Conference schedule on Sept. 20 at West Texas A&M University and Sept. 21 at Eastern New Mexico University.
