Company Lured To Cedar Park With City Financial Incentives
The agreement with Marina del Ray, California-based Wexco is contingent on sustained employment levels, officials said.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Cedar Park City Council members on Thursday approved a financial incentives package to lure a California-based company involved in construction consulting, management, safety, and engineering.
The agreement with Marina del Ray, California-based Wexco is contingent on sustained employment levels, officials said. The company currently has a small staff of three employees at its base on East Whitestone Boulevard. Under the agreement with the city, the company will build a regional headquarters at 13625 Ronald Reagan Blvd. with an expected staffing level of 25 employees by Sept. 30, 2022, officials said.
“The City of Cedar Park Economic Development has made growing Cedar Park businesses one of the top priorities in the economic Development Strategic Plan, and WEXCO growing its presence in Cedar Park is a another shining example of the work that is being done in this regard,” Cedar Park Mayor Corbin Van Arsdale said in a prepared statement.

It is with great pride that WEXCO, with the help of city leaders like the Economic Development Corporation, has chosen to focus our long-term growth and corporate development within this great city.”
The incentives for WEXCO are tied to performance measures and are funded by Economic Development (Type A) funds that come from 3/8 cent of sales tax.
