Leander Police Pursue Fleeing Suspect After Traffic Violation
A robust police presence along Apple Springs Drive was sparked after a suspect fled on foot after crashing following an infraction.
LEANDER, TX — A large police presence has descended in a Leander neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon as police pursue a fleeing suspect, officials said.
The Leander Police Department on Twitter wrote that officers are searching for a suspect that evaded them after a traffic violation along the 19500 block of Apple Springs Drive. The suspect crashed before fleeing the scene on foot, police added in their tweet posted just past 2:15 p.m.
Residents are urged to avoid the area until the situation is resolved. Patch will update if more details are shared.
