Man Arrested In Stabbing At H-E-B In Leander: Police
Peter Eugiene Goodrow, 55, faces a first-degree felony charge of aggravated assault.

LEANDER, TX — One man is in police custody and another is in critical condition after a stabbing at an H-E-B in Leander Wednesday afternoon.
Michael Neu, a spokesman for the Leander Police Department, said officers were dispatched to an H-E-B on 651 Highway 181 N. at 4 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a man attacking another man with a knife.
Officers found a 53-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and detained a 55-year-old suspect. The injured man was transported to St. David's Hospital in Round Rock. He was in critical condition Wednesday evening, Neu said.

Neu said Peter Eugiene Goodrow was identified as the suspect and was arrested and booked in Williamson County Jail Wednesday afternoon.
Goodrow is facing a first-degree felony charge of aggravated assault committed against a family member, and using a deadly weapon during the commission of the assault.

As of 10 a.m. Thursday, Goodrow was still booked in Williamson County Jail. His bond has yet to be set.
Neu said the motive for the assault is unknown at this time but states the investigation remains ongoing.
