Natural Gas Shortages Reported In Leander's Travisso Subdivision
Historic cold weather and excessive demand of energy consumption has caused a loss of natural gas service, Atmos Energy officials said.
LEANDER, TX —Atmos Energy is experiencing natural gas service outages in north Travisso subdivision on Sunday amid an Arctic blast that dropped temperatures into the single digits Sunday.
Atmos Energy officials released the following statement:
"Historic cold weather and excessive demand of energy consumption has caused a loss of natural gas service to Travisso residents north of Travisso Pkwy at Venezia View. Our crews are currently monitoring the inclement weather and assessing when restoration can safely begin. Please be aware this could take several days. For questions about your natural gas service, please call the Atmos Energy customer contact center 888.286.6700. We appreciate your patience during this historic weather event."
