WilCo Health District Expands Service Hours

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) will begin offering extended service hours for some programs starting Friday, Aug. 9, officials said.

The aim of the expanded hours is to to better serve clients at select public health center locations, police noted. Changes to services hours include:

• Clinical Services: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Round Rock Public Health Center, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday at the Georgetown and Cedar Park Public Health Center, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays at the Taylor Public Health Center.

How to get help: call the location nearest you for an appointment. Walk-in services available, call before coming to confirm availability. Routine medical or emergency care is not provided at public health center sites.

• Program Eligibility and Social Services: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Cedar Park, Georgetown and Round Rock locations, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays at the Taylor location only.

How to get help: Call the Healthcare Helpline at 512-248-3252 to get screened for State and County services. Through the Healthcare Helpline, residents are guided to available resources in the community. Resources are also available online at wilco.auntbertha.com.

• WIC and Community Nutrition: will begin offering expanded hours on Nov. 1.
