Williamson County Extends Hours Of Its VRTA Centers

Residents may receive in-person guidance to schedule their COVID-19 vaccination appointment at any of the VRTA locations.

CEDAR PARK, TX—Williamson County residents in need of assistance registering for a COVID-19 appointment will have opportunities to receive in-person guidance with representatives from the Williamson County Vaccine Registration Technical Assistance (VRTA) centers. As of Monday, April 5, VRTA has extended its hours until 3 p.m. (previously 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) in order to assist more individuals throughout the community set up appointments to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.

VRTA, in partnership with local organizations in Williamson County will continue to provide assistance for residents through the vaccination process at any of the following VRTA locations:

  • St. Richard's Episcopal Church, located at 1420 E Palm Valley Blvd in Round Rock, open Tuesdays.
  • First United Methodist Church Georgetown (McKinney Christian Ministry Center), located at 1205 Ash St. in Georgetown, open Wednesdays.
  • Northpoint Church, located at 1320 Arrow Point Drive, UNIT 201 in Cedar Park, open Thursdays.
  • Hill Country Bible Church, 3300 Little Elm Trail, Gym Building in Cedar Park, open Fridays.
  • First Baptist Taylor, 2500 Mallard Lane in Taylor, open Thursdays.
  • The Oaks in Sun City, 301 Del Webb Boulevard in Georgetown, open Wednesdays ONLY.

No appointment is required to visit the VRTA center. Residents who wish to get vaccinated are urged to get on the waitlist by visiting www.wilco.org. For more information, click HERE.
