Bay Area Harbour Playhouse Announces New Season
The Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson recently announced its 25th Anniversary season.

Dickinson, TX -- Leprechauns, nutcrackers, murder along with song and dance characterize the selections for the Bay Area Harbour Playhouse's25th Silver Anniversary Season.
The season opened on July 8 with "Finian’s Rainbow,” a musical about Irishmen, leprechauns, and a pot of gold. The show will run through July 31.

On August 13, “A Night on Broadway” will be performed during the theater's annual fundraising gala. The performance will feature more than 50 past and present company members will tread the boards to celebrate the playhouse.
Holiday mainstay "Nutcracker the Musical" will close out 2016. The play is an adaption of both the the novel "The Nutcracker" and the world famous ballet and was written by former playhouse staff member Chad-Alan Carr. "Nutcracker the Musical" runs Dec. 1 - Dec. 8.

The two comedies picked for 2016 are Neil Simon’s “The Prisoner of Second Avenue” (Aug. 26–Sept. 18) and “Noises Off” by Michael Frayn (Sept. 30–Oct. 23). The tense Broadway hit thriller “Wait Until Dark “ (Oct. 28-Nov. 20) rounds out the year.
During 2017 the theatre will present ”Let’s Murder Marsha” (Jan. 6–29), “Cheaper by the Dozen” (Feb. 10–March 5), “I Hate Hamlet “ (March 17-April 9), “George Washington Slept Here” (April 28-May 21), and “Alone Together” (June 2-25).
Performances at the theatre, located at 3803 Highway #3 in Dickinson, are Friday and Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm.
