The Blue Is Back: Galveston Beaches Enjoying Blue Water Again
Blue waters are kissing the shores of Galveston beaches again, and beachgoers are loving it.

GALVESTON, TX — The crystal blue waters of Galveston Bay.
It has a bit of a nice ring to it, but most who've been to any Texas beach are a lot more accustomed to the murky brown waters, full of sediment from rivers feeding into the Gulf of Mexico, than this beautiful clear water lapping across the sand.
The first sighting of the clear blue waves began on Memorial Day weekend, and had many comparing the water to that seen in Cozumel.

The initial clarity and blue was attributed to the current and Subtropical Storm Alberto bringing a large swell of blue water to the Texas shore.

And while many expected the familiar chocolaty brown hue to return by now, it hasn't really, giving beach goers something more to be excited about.
