Check Cashing Store Robber Caught
A man that police believe has robbed multiple check cashing stores throughout the Houston area is behind bars.
Kemah, TX -- Justin Garret Winfield, 28, was arrested in Fort Bend County for armed robbery. Police believe that Winfield allegedly robbed two checking stores in the Bay Area, one in Friendswood and one in Kemah.
At the time of Winfield's arrest he was allegedly in possession of a handgun and a controlled substance. Winfield is currently in custody in the Fort Bend County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
