Donate To Special Olympics And Score A Free Dunkin' Donut

Dunkin' Donuts and Local Houston Police Team Up to Raise Money for Special Olympics Texas. Come by and get a free donut.

HOUSTON — Tis the weekend to score a free doughnut. The Houston Police and Dunkin' Donuts are partnering to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Cops for a Cause benefitting Special Olympics Texas. On Friday from 7-11 a.m., local law enforcement and Special Olympic athletes and representatives will be on-site at select Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout Houston and the bay area to welcome guests and collect donations for the Special Olympics.

Dunkin’ Donuts will offer a free donut to each guest who visits a participating location and makes a donation.

The event, known as Cops for a Cause will be taking place Sept. 14 and 15 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at many Dunkin' Donuts locations throughout Texas. The event is part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run® activities that consistently raises close to 1.5 million a year to provide athletic training and competition and much more to more than 58,000 Special Olympics Texas athletes.
