Electrocuted Body Found in Santa Fe, TX
The body of a Santa Fe, TX man was found on Thursday, Aug. 25, investigators believe he may accidentally electrocuted himself.

SANTA FE, TX — The body of Mason Curlee, 19, of Santa Fe, was found by Galveston County authorities on Thursday, Aug. 25. Curlee had been missing since Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Curlee had left his mother's house at 11 a.m. Wednesday to go fishing and had not been seen since. Curlee's vehicle was found in the 1600 block of SH 6 in Santa Fe around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The area is known to have several ponds that can be reached on foot. Galveston County Sheriff's deputies, a K-9 unit from the Santa Fe Police Department and Curlee's family members fanned out and searched the area for him.

His body was found at about 9:45 p.m. in a field near a pond. Investigators believe Curlee electrocuted himself while trying to crawl under a low hanging wire.
