Enroll For 2017: 5 After-School Programs in Clear Lake

Parents in the Clear Lake area can ensure that their children are enrolled in an after-school program that engages their children's interests, while also stimulating intellectual growth, with a curated collection of after-school programs available in 2017.

Tiger's Den Martial Arts offers supervised, structured, after-school classes that are age-appropriate, teach self-defense and focus on self-discipline and respect. Transportation is covered; Tiger's Den picks up enrolled children after they are dismissed from school regardless of weather. Lobo Gymnastics provides child care for six age groups: infants, toddlers, preschool to 2, preschool to 3, prekindergarten and school-age. Child care is available for before and after school, and transportation is included; buses, inspected and approved by the state, transport children to and from select public and private schools. Kidz World Academy recognizes the challenges faced by busy, working parents in the Clear Lake area and seeks to meet the needs of these children's parents through childcare offered before and after school. The Kidz World after-school program includes—but is not limited—transportation before and after school to select campuses, breakfast and nutritious afternoon snacks, homework and reading time, enrichment activities that promote teamwork and social development, community outreach projects.

University of Houston-Clear Lake offers Art School for Children, an after-school program that gives enrolled children the opportunity to learn the basics of creating art while also creating their own original pieces. Enrollment, comprising a series of eight is secured once payment is received. Options are also available for home-schooled children. Early registration is encouraged.
