Galveston County Father Charged with Allegedly Beating 6-year-old Girl to Death
A Galveston County father is charged with allegedly beating his 6-year-old daughter to death.
LEAGUE CITY, TX — A Galveston County father is being held on a $250,000 bond for allegedly beating his 6-year-old daughter to death.
Evan David Nolan, 26, was already charged with injury to a child after his daughter, Whitney, was admitted to a Houston-area hospital with injuries similar to ones receives after a severe beating.
Evan Nolan was arrested on suspicion of injury to a child. Whitney Nolan succumbed to her injuries on Friday, Aug. 19, and died at the hospital.

The Galveston County District Attorney's Office is preparing the case for presentation to a grand jury, which will consider indicting Nolan for murder of capital murder.
