Galveston Heritage Fest Aug. 6
The second annual Galveston Heritage Festival will celebrate Galveston's history.
GALVESTON, TX — Island residents will be able to spend Saturday, Aug. 6, celebrating Galveston's unique history at the second annual Galveston Heritage Festival.
The event will be at Kempner Park, 27th and Avenue O, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be an oral history recording booth set up as part of the StoryCorps.me program. The festivities will also include a Sacred Places Tour that will visit five Galveston churches.
