Galveston Man Arrested in Connection to Robbery, Sex Assault
A Galveston man was arrested in connection with a robbery and sexual assault.

GALVESTON, TX — Odis Demond Jenkins, 32, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 30, in connection to a reported kidnapping and sexual assault.
The kidnapping and assault were reported about 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28. The victim said she was using an ATM on Galveston College campus when she was attacked.
Galveston College issued an alert to faculty, staff and students on Monday informing about 2,700 people of the attack. The college also turned over video from the nearly 60 security cameras on campus.

The ATM is outside of a college building and is accessible 24-hours a day. The victim is not a student at the school.
Jenkins is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault. He is being held on a $450,000 bond.
