Galveston Pumped For Texas' Largest Mardi Gras Celebration
Galveston is preparing for the city's annual Mardi Gras celebration, kicking of a full 10 days of fun.

GALVESTON, TX —Floats and party goers will populate the Strand on Galveston Island when Texas’ largest Mardi Gras celebration kicks off on Friday, Feb. 2.
Along with the fun, floats and food, it’s the beads that everyone loves the most.
More than 3 million beads will be thrown at Mardi Gras Galveston and that’s just the beginning of the elaborate parades, headliner performances, family events, feasting and other festivities that come with hosting Mardi Gras island style.

Who’s gonna be there?
The Mystic Krewe of Aquarius, Krewe Gambrinus and Knights of Momus Grand Night Parade as they come to the Entertainment District.
