High School Football: Week 10 And Playoff's Are On The Horizon
The regular high school football season ends this weekend and some teams are looking forward to the playoffs

HOUSTON, TX — It's week 10 of the high school football season and for some teams, the season will end. However, other teams are looking forward to the bi-district playoffs that happen next week for the race for the state championship.
Among the teams looking forward are the Katy Tigers who shut out the Katy Taylor Mustangs 24-0 to win their district. Ridge Point, who had already earned a playoff spot, won their district outright, defeating Dulles 35-21. In other Thursday night action, The Woodlands Highlanders won big, defeating Klein Forest 63-7, while Tomball Memorial fell to Cy-Ranch 35-14.

The action continued Friday night with Worthing blanking Stafford 100-0, Cy-Fair winning 28-14 against the Cy-Creek Cougars. Spring defeated MacArthur 48-13 in a district game, Clear Springs won their district game against and Clear Creek 49-14.
In other action, Oak Ridge defeated Conroe 73-14, and Atascocita stayed undefeated and defeated Humble 65-21.

The action continues on Saturday with Elkins and Austin kicking off at noon, and Willowridge and Sterling playing at 1 p.m. Late games include Langham Creek taking on Cy-Springs, Milby hosting Sharpstown, and Shadow Creek traveling to Rosenberg B.F. Terry at 7 p.m.
