Houston Area Grocery Store Hours For New Years Eve, New Years Day

HOUSTON, TX — The start of the New Year will be here on Tuesday, and if you are planning your first feast of 2019, you may not need to rush. There are several grocery store chains that plan to operate on a regular schedule, but there are exceptions with some opting to close the first day of 2019.

Stores that will be open certain hours or operating on a regular schedule include:

• HEB: Regular Schedule New Years Eve and New Year's Day
• Kroger: Regular Schedule New Years Eve and New Year's Day
• Walmart: Regular Schedule New Years Eve and New Year's Day
• Sam's Club: NY Eve: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.; NY Day: Closed
• Target: NY Eve: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.; NY Day: Normal Hours
• CVS: Regular Schedule New Years Eve and New Year's Day
• Walgreens: Regular Schedule New Years Eve and New Year's Day
• Aldi Stores: NY Eve: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.; NY Day: Closed
• Costco: NY Eve: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; NY Day: Closed
• Trader Joe's: Stores close at 6 p.m. New Year's EWve, and are closed New Year's Day
• Sprouts: Regular Schedule New Years Eve and New Year's Day
• Whole Foods: NY Eve: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.; NY Day 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
