Restaurant Week Kicks Off On Galveston Island This Weekend

GALVESTON, TX — This weekend in Galveston will be the weekend for serious foodies as the annual Galveston Restaurant Week kicks off on the island.

The eighth annual Galveston.com & Company Galveston Restaurant Week takes place from Jan. 26 thru Feb. 10, and brings Galveston Island’s vibrant food scene to life for two full weeks of delicious dining.

More than 30 Galveston eateries will be firing up their kitchen staff, and catering to a variety of cultural tastes from Tex-Mex to Cajun gumbo, as well as steaks and seafood, too.

Some the participating restaurants include:

• Little Daddy’s Gumbo Bar
• Nick’s Kitchen and Beach Bar
• Grotto
• Taquilo’s Tex-Mex Catina
• Prohibition Red’s
• BLVD. Seafood
• Yaga’s Cafe
• Sky Bar Steak & Sushi

The event is presented by WAITR. Delivery or carryout, Waitr allows you to eat however and whenever you please.

Galveston is home of the finest Gulf Coast seafood and some of Texas’s most delectable restaurants.
