Santa Fe, TX PD to Hold Coffee With a Cop Aug. 18

The Santa Fe, TX Police Department will hold coffee with a cop on Aug. 18

SANTA FE, TX — In an effort to improve understanding between the residents and the department, the Santa Fe Police Department has announced the introduction of two programs that will allow for more direct communication with police officers.

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 18, Santa Fe PD, in conjunction with area businesses, will host a monthly Coffee with a Cop meeting. The inaugural event will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the McDonald’s at 12400 Hwy. 6 in Santa Fe, TX.

The department is also unveiling a Stroll With Patrol program, which encourages residents to take a walk with Santa Fe PD officers through Joe. A Tombrella Park on Monday, Wednesday, Firday morning between from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
