City Kicks Off ‘Shop Coppell’ Giveaway

Small Business Saturday is right around the corner, but the City of Coppell plans to celebrate local businesses throughout the holiday season! Beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 28, and running through December 31, residents who patron local retailers and restaurants will be entered for a chance to win a gift card to a local Coppell business. Multiple winners will be selected, and prizes will range in value from $25 to the grand prize of $200.

"It has always been true that by shopping at local businesses you support the community, but that just feels more real this year," said Mindi Hurley, Director of Community Development. "When you shop at our local stores, you really are impacting Coppell families. The dollars you spend at our small businesses really do go toward putting food on your neighbors' tables."

This holiday season, make a commitment to support local retailers, whether that's online, over the phone, through an app or via curbside pickup! While following safety guidelines, gather your family and have fun while supporting Coppell businesses and restaurants in the following ways:

• Shop on Small Business Saturday for a chance to win a $25 gift card! Spend $50 or more at local businesses or restaurants on Small Business Saturday, November 28. Visit cityforms.coppelltx.gov/Forms/SMBusContest to submit photos of your receipts by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2 to be entered into the drawing. Winners will be notified via email and/or phone to arrange prize pickup.
• Shop all season long for a chance to win a Grand Prize! Spend $200 or more at local businesses or restaurants from November 28 – December 31. Visit cityforms.coppelltx.gov/Forms/HolidayContest to submit photos of your receipts by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 to be entered into the drawing. In addition to a drawing for the Grand Prize – a $200 gift card to a Coppell business – three drawings will be held for $100 gift cards. The winners will be notified via email and/or phone to arrange prize pickup.
