Fa La La La Lights: Holiday Lights and Display Contest
December 4 – 31Homes are decked with rows of lights! Coppell's Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting event has been an amazing tradition for the Coppell community for many years. This year, to provide a safe holiday experience for everyone, we are bringing the celebration to you! Our first-ever holiday lights contest is underway and Coppell residents and businesses have decorated homes, yards, or storefronts with their holiday best. Beginning Friday, December 4, check out the Fa La La La Lights virtual map to find locations of registered participants. Plan a nighttime walk or drive around neighborhoods to see the lighted displays and share in the celebration. Take pictures of the displays you find and tag us on social to help share the joy! The more people who take part, the more celebration there is to share, so get your friends and neighbors involved! From Monday, December 7 through Monday, December 21, pictures of the decorated spaces will be posted on the Coppell Parks & Recreation Facebook page. Followers can vote via likes for their favorite display for our Cindy Lou Who Citizen's Choice award! Winners in the three award categories will be announced the afternoon of Monday, December 21 and will include the Clark Griswold Award (brightest/most lights), Buddy the Elf Holiday Cheer Award, and Cindy Lou Who Citizen's Choice Award. Don your favorite holiday apparel and join in this year's holiday celebration! Holly Jolly Holiday Lights in the Park

Home For The Holidays – Coppell Community Orchestra

The concert will be held at the Coppell Arts Center, located at 505 Travis St., Coppell. Admission for this concert is free, though donations are appreciated and tax-deductible. This concert will promote social distance both on and off the stage. What's in Your Mug? Virtual Baking Program

Join the Cozby Library and Community Commons for a demonstration of basic mug baking from the Library kitchen. They'll go over a few recipes and some tips and tricks.
