Summer is here, and we know you’re counting the days until you can return to campus. But we can help you with the waiting, too. Dallas College students get lots of discounts for activities and recreation around North Texas.
Yes, you get discounts on services, merchandise and events just because you’re a Dallas College student. Here are a few ways you can enjoy your student (or alumni) status. Log in to view an event fuller list, including software discounts and other deals.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra: You’re eligible to get a DSO College Card, which allows you to purchase a single ticket for each DSO performance you want to see online by visiting and entering your card’s unique code. You can reuse your code for different performances throughout the year, and you can also use it to get tickets for your friends and family at a 25% discount. Pick it up by going to Student Life and showing your Student ID.Angelika Film Center (Mockingbird Station): The Angelika Film Center in Dallas allows Dallas College students, employees and alumni to claim discounted tickets for $9.50. Students show ID at the ticket counter, and alumni mention Dallas College to the ticket agent. Mockingbird Station location only.Texas Rangers: Current students, employees and alumni can use a discount code (login required).Dallas Museum of Art: Bring your student ID to receive a discount on special exhibitions tickets (full price $16, students $12). General admission is always free for all visitors, but during the pandemic, you must reserve a time online before arriving.Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor: Students are eligible for discounted tickets at Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor in Arlington. Discounted tickets are only available online. Get the Dallas College code (login required).Camp Gladiator: Current students receive a 10% discount on monthly outdoor fitness camp memberships. Log in with your student ID to view even more discounts.
