Fun Things To Do In Coppell This Weekend: Parade, Tree Lighting

COPPELL, TX — Holiday alert! The City of Coppell has planned a number of holiday-themed activities for residents and newcomers alike to enjoy during the weekend. Don't miss your chance to have some early Christmas fun at the following events:

HarpEssence:
Take a break from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the musical stylings of HarpEssence. Relax and enjoy light refreshments while listening to the exquisite sounds of four grand harps performing Christmas favorites.

• When: Dec. 2 at 2:00 p.m.
• Where: Cozby Library and Community Commons. 177 N. Heartz Rd.

Vintage Christmas:
Kick off the holiday season with shopping, dining and fun activities in Old Town Coppell! Old Town businesses will be spreading holiday cheer and can't wait to see you. We will be sure to make your holiday season merry and bright!

• When: Dec. 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Where: Old Town Coppell — 768 W. Main Street

Lighted Parade and Tree Lighting:
Wear your favorite or tackiest holiday sweater and join us along the route to enjoy our parade that gets bigger, better, and brighter every year! Each float will be decked out with holiday lights. Line the parade route early for the best spot. Route: Samuel Blvd. - Parkway Blvd. - Town Center
After the parade, head over to Town Center Plaza for more holiday fun including a tree lighting ceremony with fireworks! Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy live music by the Justin Cash Trio, snack on festive holiday treats, and write letters to send to the North Pole!

Coppell Farmers Market:
Farmers and food producers will offer a delightful variety of vegetables and seasonal specialties all winter long.
From December through March the Coppell Farmers Market is open two Saturdays each month: December 2 & 16, January 13 & 27, February 10 & 24, and March 10 & 24. The weekly schedule begins again in April.
SNAP is Accepted at the Coppell Farmers Market, located at 768 W. Main Street in Old Town.
