Grapevine Police Chase Ends In Crash; 3 Killed
Police tried to pull over an SUV when they suspected the driver was intoxicated. He sped off.

GRAPEVINE, TX — A police chase that began in Haltom ended with a crash in Grapevine that left three people dead, police said. Police suspected the driver of a Chevrolet SUV was intoxicated and tried to pull the vehicle over on the 2800 block of North Beach Street in Haltom.
The vehicle sped off though, leading police on a chase through Euless, Colleyville and into Grapevine, police said. They unsuccessfully tried to deploy tire deflation devices, known as stop sticks.
At one point, the SUV traveled up an embankment of the William D Tate exit ramp and the driver lost control of the vehicle. It rolled down onto state Route 360 and all three males in the SUV were thrown from the vehicle.
