Holiday Hours For The City Of Coppell, Trash Collection Schedule

COPPELL, TX -- The City of Coppell has released its holiday hours for Christmas and New Year's. All administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Christmas Day, the city said in a news releae. City offices will resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, Dec. 26 and close again on Tuesday, Jan. 1 in observance of the New Year. City offices will resume normal operating hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The following is a breakdown of other closures around Coppell during the holiday season:

• The Biodiversity Education Center will be closed December 22-January 5.
• Wagon Wheel Tennis Center will be closed December 24-25. The center will be open from 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26. Wagon Wheel Tennis Center will close at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 31, and will remain closed on New Year’s Day. The facility will reopen on Wednesday, January 2 from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
• The CORE will be closed December 24-25. The facility will be open from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26. The CORE will close at 5 p.m. on December 31 and remain closed all day January 1. The CORE will be open from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2.
• The Senior and Community Center will be closed December 24-25. The Senior Center will close at 3 p.m. on December 31 and remain closed all day on January 1.
• The Cozby Library and Community Commons will be closed December 24-25. The Library will close at 6 p.m. on December 31 and will remain closed on New Year’s Day.

Solid waste, recycling, and bulk collection service normally provided on Monday, Dec. 24 and 31 will not be affected. Wednesday pickup will shift to Thursday, and Thursday pickup will shift to Friday the week of Christmas and the week of New Years. Unflocked Christmas trees will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 27 after decorations have been removed. The tree must be placed at the end of your driveway.
